IKIU will host GIAN2015 Conference titled "Water: Source of Life" from October 17-18, 2015. GIAN2015 Conference is an academic event that is organized by Imam Khomeini International University, University of Tehran, University of Gottingen, University of Kassel and Germany-Iran Alumni Network (GIAN) and some other related departments in Qazvin one of the most wonderful cities in Iran.
From October 17-18, 2015 we will have the opportunity to tackle the challenges that water services are facing in Arid and Semi-Arid Areas like Qazvin in the 21st century. Water scarcity, climate change, increasing demand, and the deterioration of water resources require a dedicated search for more efficient solutions. This conference will gather a large network of water professionals in different disciplines to exchange experiences on the following key topics:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
The instructions below are specifically directed at authors who wish to submit a manuscript to GIAN 2015 Conference "Water: Source of Life"
All full papers should be submitted electronically through our website which can be accessed at http://gian2015.ut.ac.ir/
Submission of a paper implies that it has not been published previously, that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and that if accepted it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language, without the written consent of the publisher.
The final manuscripts should not exceed 8 pages in length and should conform to the manuscript guidelines. Please pay particular care to the paper preparation instructions, as papers that do not comply with these instructions may be rejected. Please pay attention to the submission deadline for your full paper
The full paper should be 1.5 lines spaced as for printing on 21 X 29.7 cm (A4) paper. Margins of at least 2.5 cm (1 in.) should be used. The manuscript must be prepared using Microsoft Word 2003. A font size of 12 pt Arial is required. The corresponding author should be identified (include a Fax number and E-mail address). An abstract, not exceeding 300 words will be accepted. It should identify the main points of the paper, not be a repetition of the title. Five keywords should be included for indexing purposes.
Some general points
-abstract and text font: Arial 10 pts
-Title and headlines should be capitalized Arial 12 pts
-author's and co-author's surname and initial of first name without titles
- name of the corresponding author has to be specified.
-institution, city and country of author and co-authors
The full paper should be divided into well-defined sections, each headed by a caption, e.g., Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusions, Acknowledgement, References.
Tables and figures should be put on the text based on their orders. Figures must have sufficient resolution in black and white format.

Text: All citations in the text should refer to:
- .Single author: the author's name (without initials, unless there is ambiguity) and the year of publication;
- Two authors: both authors' names and the year of publication;
- Three or more authors: first author's name followed by 'et al.' and the year of publication.
Citations may be made directly (or parenthetically). Groups of references should be listed first alphabetically, then chronologically.
Examples: 'as demonstrated in wheat (Johnson, 2000a, 2000b, 1999; John and Rashidi, 1999). Karimi et al., (2010) have recently shown ....'
List: References should be arranged first alphabetically and then further sorted chronologically if necessary. More than one reference from the same author(s) in the same year must be identified by the letters 'a', 'b', 'c', etc., placed after the year of publication.
