Mr. Alberto González Casals, ambassador of Cuba in Iran visited Imam Khomeini International University and met and discussed with the president of University with the purpose of bilateral scientific cooperation.
Dr. Seyed Ali Ghasemzadeh, President of Imam Khomeini International University explained the exiting potentials of  the university for opening different scientific collaboration with Cuban universities and mentioned, Since the establishment of this university more than 10,000 non-Iranian students have studied in various scientific fields, especially in Persian language.
The ambassador of Cuba also stated that Imam Khomeini International University (R.A.) is the first university from Iran that is willing to have scientific and cultural exchanges with Cuba, and said: There is a lot of research which has been made about this university and the successes and quality of its professors and administrators which all indicate the high percentage of scientific quality of the university.
